Flower Workshops

This was my first floral design class and I absolutely loved it! Thank you Sarah for the informative, informal, and fun class. I can’t wait to practice my new skills!” ~ Kannary Nuth Hall

Awaken your floral artistry.

Even when I am feeling sad, if I can take a bunch of flowers and make something of beauty with them, I feel better, content. I am forever grateful.” ~Anne Houser

We love what we do and believe that anyone on any budget can enjoy the art of floral arranging given a little instruction.

We offer private flower workshops where we come to your home or venue or your choice with all the flowers and supplies needs to teach the basics of floral design. Think gourmet cooking class, only with flowers.

The best part is we can do this following social distance guidelines in small groups. Backyards make great flower workshop spaces!

Our hands on flower workshops are 1-1.5 hours long. They can be held on weekdays, weeknights, or weekends in the comfort of your home or location of choice. We provide all the fresh flowers, greens, vases and tools to create the floral designs. Participants will learn the art of floral arranging and leave with at least two beautiful fresh floral designs. They’ll also get all the tips on how to make flowers last as long as possible and where to buy flowers.

We’ve led workshops for fun friends “night in,” bridal showers, children’s birthdays, bookclubs, neighborhood groups, corporate team building and more. It’s a fun way to get together, learn something and leave with beautiful flowers.

We require a minimum of 7 participants and can accommodate up to 30. Prices range from $75-90 per person. No experience is required. Contact us to book for your private flower workshop or get more information. Email ask@urbanpetals.com.

It is so much fun to look at the flowers I see every day in my yard, at the store, at the park, and know that I can create beautiful, simple arrangements to brighten up my home.” ~Amy Jacky
