Event
Description
The Vincent Scully Prize, established in honor of Vincent Scully, the Sterling Professor Emeritus at Yale University, recognizes exemplary practice, scholarship, or criticism in architecture, landscape architecture, historic preservation, or urban design.
This year it honored Charlie Rose for his special effort to explore and promote the fields of architecture and design to the general public. His iconic wooden table and last name inspired our design. This event is particularly meaningful to Sarah as Scully was her favorite professor at Yale.
The flowers were later donated to Martha’s Table for their Thanksgiving Luncheon. Martha’s Table provides healthy food, affordable clothing, and quality education to DC residents trying to break the cycle of poverty.
