Opening Night of Moby Dick – Kennedy Center

  • Moby Dick Opening at Kennedy Center - Urban Petals
We used curled willow branches to create the look of a the ship’s sails.
  • delphinium
For this look we used delphinium to mimic the ship’s masts and blue hydrangea to represent the ocean’s waves. We also incorporated lisianthus, roses, stock, and seeded eucalyptus.
  • Moby Dick Opening at Kennedy Center - Urban Petals
The star thistle we used was a nod to sailors following star maps.
