We wired beautiful Cymbidium orchids to silver branches and suspended them from the ceiling.
The colors of the flowers for the cocktail tables in the museum were inspired by the event invitation and were a great contrast to the art.

Client Hirshhorn Museum & Sculpture Garden Event
Description
To welcome the museum’s new director we created floral designs that evoke the modern and contemporary art exhibited in the Hirshhorn Museum. Under a tent in the museum’s famous Sculpture Garden we suspended Cymbidium orchids and used tons of Gloriosa lilies and Miracle roses on the tables for a simple and dramatic effect.
Afterwards, we donated the flowers to Bright Beginnings, which provides safe, nurturing childcare for homeless infants, toddlers and preschoolers in the DC area, and the Bernice Fonteneau Center, which promotes wellness in low income seniors.
